Yeah, the actual version has some files that can be seen, others will give you an error, that's why it's better to use an older client. However, keep in mind older versions have also older Waterfront and Financial versions, and some buildings and zones were partially rebuilt, so you might find some differences. Also, if you go to the minimap folder in either district you'll get a map with numbers, these are the numbers assigned to the blocks, that makes it easier to find the exact section you are after.

Alrighty so I finally ripped New Cross like I said I was going to a long-@ss time ago. But I ran into a bit of a problem.  I'm stupid.

Plus I haven't used ninja ripper or Noesis in a long time.  Where do I find the textures for the models that make up the map?  I know some of you have done it before so I figured I'd ask.  Never ripped a chunk of a map before.  Got all the meshes though.

They should all be scattered in the folder containing the mesh files. You can either search for them in this folder or scroll down in noesis past the mesh files, you'll find the textures. Notice, though, some textures might have not being ripped, because of course not, and you might have to do a texture rip.

Alternatively, you can get these textures using Umodel, that's how I did most of Financial. (Note 2: Umodel works with older clients)

You shouldn't just reject criticism just because you got forum banned though.  I mean a forum account is basically worthless.  If you get banned, then you can make a new one for free.  No work or progress lost unless you actually care about your post count.  The ones giving you criticism aren't the ones who banned you, the people giving you criticism are the ones who want to see your renders improve.

That's a pretty good thought. Besides, as a community we are trying to help, not throw rocks at each other

Hi I'm dead inside but not fully outside. Been busy, but this was a long time coming, new hair.

A bit of the process:

Hi I'm alive, been busy making Dragon Age renders o/

Sigh Look, I have the kind of content you usually find here, completely devoid of Nazis.

Now if it can stay this way, I'd be very grateful.

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeally really good job, Like I said, Whiskey looks really beautiful in this render! i like the posters too :D Only thing is what I told you, maybe add a border to the metal walls. Other than that, amazing!

:3 Milk!

Chelly did this with my spider rigging tests

Took 3 days to do this.

Hopefully this image tells a story who the character is just by the items around and the attitude.

First off, I really really like the mood and the ambience of this scene. It feels like San Paro wherever you look and it's a really pleasant picture to look at. I liked the amount of detail you put into it, like the stun gun and the URSUS. Also those giraffes :D It's all pretty much fitting Amaka, her culture and style.

On the other side, as I told you, I felt the lights on the buildings were a bit too strong for a day scene nvm, you already fixed :P

Aside from that, I think you did a great job and I'm glad you decided to continue :D

EDIT: Wild wiski render!

I don't think it's meh, it does tell a story, only maybe is not as exciting as a scene with known characters (maybe it would make it more relatable that way) But the concept and the idea is clear and well executed.

The only issues I found were the walking poses. Feets that are at the front could use a bit more of variety, maybe one that hasn't fully stepped, for example. I would also add some hip rotation to give some dynamism to the scene.

The other thing is the guy at the back, the one with the earpiece. His pose is alright and doesn't have any issues, but I think it could have used a bit more love, maybe turning to the right side, with some rotation in the head or the spine. That would make it more interesting.

Always had this in the back of my mind since I made Natalia, but never dared to try. Thanks to Kevkof for letting me borrow his family jewel :DztRl6O2.png

EDIT: Unfortunately, I think I don't have many behind the scene pictures :( the rope is basically a subdivided box sculpted tot he shape and bag kind of the same
