Also sorry for the block of text and i know that some of you dont really care about the event and prefer what is left of the game, i understand you.
This post is regarding the Summer battle royale event. I forgot what its name was correctly, or if it had one at all.
I would like to hear any kind of news about it, what happened to it, or if there still even a slightest chance for it actually getting released.
Now onto the topic, Im really wondering how people and the company expect it to impact the game.
Would it actually be effective at promoting the game and gaining new players? Would it be useful at all to promote the game at this stage? Could this event be the last udder stroke of the cash cow. What if it actually succeeded (haha imagine), would G1 use the money to improve the game? What would happen to game after it?...I kept thinking to myself, they dont advertise the game because the engine might be coming, but i really have very little hope for it after all these years.
And even so, lets say if it launched today, how would players perceive it compared to PUBattlegrounds, would they call it a copy, curse the game and laugh at it, ruin its reputation even more..
Its kind of a stupid thought, but what if "summer" event was launched before the PUBG, do you think it could make any success? The APB is in absolutely horrible shape, but maybe if the event was more playable than other royale variations (H1Z1 and PUBG are still kinda messy games on bad engines, at least for me they seem extremely buggy, the cars, the gunplay, everything looks like its scrappy, barely running, but im no expert about this though.)
Im really wondering what you think, how it could impact the APB.
